Incident Command System ICS 400: Advanced ICS Command and General Staff-Complex Incidents

This course directs the student towards an operational understanding of large single-agency and complex multi-agency/multi-jurisdictional incident responses. Topics include fundamentals review for command and general staff, major and/or complex
incident/event management, area command, and multi-agency coordination.

Incident Command System 300

Focus is on the Incident Command System (ICS) for supervisors in expanding emergency incidents, and provides more descriptive detail of the organization, structure, responsibilities, duties and terminology used in event and incident planning. The course includes scenarios to enhance learning and provides a foundation for being able to participate successfully in command and control courses offered by the Emergency Management Institute at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
